The American Academy / Association of Orthopedic Medicine established its awards program to recognize and celebrate members whose contributions align with AAOM’s mission to TRAIN. TREAT. TRANSFORM. By showcasing these achievements, the organization not only honors exceptional work but also inspires others to get involved and strive for similar impact. The awards program strengthens our community through membership engagement, enhances public visibility, and highlights the organization’s values.

Ultimately, the awards program reinforces our mission while fostering a culture of excellence within the field of regenerative orthopedic medicine. The awards program includes recognition opportunities for members throughout their career stages.

The awards program is managed by a committee comprised of AAOM board members and members at-large to ensure a deep connection to the the organizations’s mission and a wide reach into AAOM’s membership.

TIMELINE TO 2026 AWARDS

December 1, 2025: Launch request for applications

January 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM (Eastern): Deadline for application submission

January 15 through February 15, 2026:: Awards Committee will review applications and determine the award winner.

Late February 2026: Award winners notified.

March 20, 2026: Award winners honored at annual AAOM Scientific Conference awards banquet on Friday evening.

AWARDS APPLICATION

The Awards Committee honors nominees solely on the information provided in the nomination document prepared by the nominator. When information and/or documentation are incomplete, the Committee may be unable to award deserving individuals.

AAOM awards recognition is reserved for members in good standing.
