The Spine Injection Techniques Cadaver Clinic offers physicians an intensive opportunity to strengthen their procedural skills through hands-on cadaver training. The all-star faculty line-up will enhance your experience in an intimate 3:1 setting.

Course Description

This cutting-edge workshop is a comprehensive hands-on interventional regenerative medicine spine workshop to complement your clinical and surgical treatments. The workshop will provide the fundamentals regarding the various types of regenerative medicine and injection techniques.  Included will be uses of various guidance such as palpation, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, and information on how Orthobiologic treatments such as PRP, and Cellular MSCs work for the spine, giving you the tools and skills to achieve successful patient outcomes. The emphasis will be on teaching you how to incorporate techniques into your practice.

Learning Objectives

Using palpation, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, this 1.5 day workshop will encompass five separate labs with breakout teams that will be covering injection education and techniques followed by supervised practice sessions using cadaver specimen. You’ll have access to multiple instructors to deepen your knowledge and learning opportunity.

Target Audience

Physicians with prior exposure to musculoskeletal ultrasound who want or need hands-on training experience in performing US-guided injections. This is ideal for physicians who want to add this skill set into their practice, expand their repertoire of procedures they can offer, or hammer down the basics of performing US-guided injections.

Attendence Requirements

Registration is open to physicians who are board-certified or in the examination process for certification in: Anesthesiology, Interventional Pain, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiology, Neurology, Orthopedics, or Family Practice / Sports Medicine.  Registrants who are not board-certified or eligible for certification in these specialties must have either completed or be currently enrolled in a pain fellowship accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), or be a residency trained MD or DO approved by the educational committee of the AAOM to enroll in this course.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If a registrant is unable to attend an event for any reason they may substitute, by arrangement with the registrar, someone else to attend in their place.

Where the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:

  • Registrations cancelled more than ten working days before the event are eligible for a refund of the registration fees paid, less a 10% administration charge. No refunds are available for cancellations made within ten working days of the event.

  • Refunds will be made to the same debit/credit card that was used for the registration payment. Payments made for merchandise purchased, and available for pick-up at the event, will not be refunded. Registrants have the option to make arrangements with the registrar to have, at the registrant’s cost, the items shipped following the event. Any merchandise not claimed at the event for which no prior notice to the registrar has been made will be forfeited.

Any required changes or cancellations to lodging reservations are the responsibility of the person booking the room. AAOM is not responsible for changes or cancellations to hotel reservations.
