Dr. Dina Soliman was honored with the distinction of Honorary Dame of the Portuguese Royal House and recognized as a recipient of the Gold Cross with Sash, during her international engagement in Vatican City.
The American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine (AAOM) is proud to recognize Dr. Dina Soliman, AAOM International Section Chief, for her inspiring presentation at the World Changers Summit, held October 22, 2026, at the Vatican, during a gathering with the Institute for Advanced Studies and Cooperation.
Speaking before an international audience, Dr. Soliman delivered a compelling message about the extraordinary capabilities of the human body and the important connection between brain health, emotional well-being, physical movement, and the body's natural healing processes.
"Your body is a masterpiece, a living masterpiece," Dr. Soliman shared, encouraging attendees to recognize the remarkable complexity of the human body and its capacity for adaptation, healing, and regeneration.
Drawing on her expertise in rehabilitation medicine, Dr. Soliman discussed the potential of regenerative approaches, neurorehabilitation, and neuromodulation, while emphasizing the importance of lifestyle choices and emotional well-being in supporting overall health.
Using the memorable analogy, "Your brain is the king and your body is the kingdom," she highlighted the influence of stress, mindset, and brain function on physical health and recovery.
One of the most memorable elements of her presentation was her reflection on the "Seven Golden Rules" passed down by her grandmother—timeless principles emphasizing purposeful work, meaningful social connections, daily movement, healthy posture, natural sunlight, balanced nutrition, restorative sleep, and gratitude.
Through these personal reflections, Dr. Soliman encouraged attendees to recognize that supporting health involves more than medical treatment alone. Her message emphasized the importance of caring for both mind and body, adopting healthy daily habits, and embracing a positive approach to life.
She concluded with an uplifting reminder to practice gratitude, appreciate the present, and avoid allowing worry and fear to diminish life's joys.
Dr. Soliman's participation in the World Changers Summit reflects the international engagement and interdisciplinary exchange of ideas that AAOM seeks to foster. As AAOM International Section Chief, she contributes to building connections among healthcare professionals worldwide and advancing conversations about innovative approaches to musculoskeletal medicine, rehabilitation, and patient well-being.
AAOM congratulates Dr. Soliman on this opportunity to share her knowledge, experience, and perspective on an international stage.
