Expanding Access to Ultrasound: Regentx Donates Two Mindray TE5 Systems

We are pleased to announce the generous donation of two Mindray TE5 handheld ultrasound machines by Joel Surace of RegenTx. This meaningful contribution will help expand access to point-of-care ultrasound technology and support the delivery of high-quality care where it is needed most.

Portable ultrasound has become an increasingly valuable tool for healthcare professionals, providing real-time imaging at the bedside and helping clinicians make timely, informed decisions. The TE5 systems combine portability with advanced imaging capabilities, making them well suited for a variety of clinical environments.

Through this donation, Joel Surace and Regentx are helping put valuable diagnostic technology directly into the hands of healthcare professionals where we need it most - our mission brigades. The two ultrasound systems will provide an important resource for clinicians while supporting improved access to ultrasound imaging.

“We are incredibly grateful to Joel Surace and RegenTx for this generous donation,” said Steve Karageanes, DO, AAO President. “These ultrasound machines will have an immediate and meaningful impact, giving our team another powerful tool to evaluate patients and provide timely care.”

The donation also reflects the important role that partnerships between healthcare organizations, businesses, and community supporters can play in strengthening patient care. Contributions of medical technology can have an impact well beyond the equipment itself—supporting clinicians, enhancing education, and ultimately benefiting the patients and communities they serve—directly serving AAOM’s mission to Train. Treat. Transform

We extend our sincere thanks to Joel Surace and RegenTx for their generosity and commitment to making a difference. We look forward to putting these two ultrasound systems to work and seeing the positive impact they will have.
