AAOM’s 2025 Spine Injection Techniques Clinic a Resounding Success
The AAOM’s 2025 Spine Injection Techniques Clinic was deemed a tremendous success by both participants and instructors. The sold-out event took place October 18–19, 2025, at the Riordan Medical Institute in Dallas, TX. A special thank-you goes to AAOM Board Member Tejas Ozarkar, MD, for graciously hosting the clinic.
This cutting-edge, hands-on workshop was designed as a comprehensive interventional regenerative medicine spine injection techniques clinic to complement both clinical and surgical treatments. Participants received in-depth training on the fundamentals of regenerative medicine and injection procedures, including the use of palpation, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy guidance. The curriculum also covered the science and application of orthobiologic treatments such as PRP and Cellular MSCs, providing attendees with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Of AAOM’s Spine Injection Techniques Clinic, participant Matthew Bennet, MD, commented, “As a classically trained orthopedic spine surgeon running a busy clinical practice, I’ve been to (and taught at) a lot of procedural courses over the years. What I experienced at the AAOM Spine Injection Techniques Clinic was top notch.”
Over the course of 1.5 days, attendees participated in five separate lab sessions, organized into small breakout teams. Each lab focused on specific injection education and techniques, followed by supervised, hands-on practice using cadaver specimens. With access to multiple expert instructors, participants benefited from personalized guidance and expanded their clinical expertise.
Bennett completed his review by stating, “This course opened my eyes to a broader toolbox I wish I had access to earlier in my career. I left energized, with practical skills and a new lens on spine care that blends precision, safety, and patient-centered thinking. I highly recommend it.”
AAOM extends its sincere gratitude to our sponsors for their continued support of its mission to Train. Treat. Transform.™
