CANCELLATION POLICY

Event Cancellation

If a registrant is unable to attend an event for any reason they may substitute, by arrangement with the registrar, someone else to attend in their place.

Where the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply for the event:

  • Registrations cancelled more than 45 working days before the event are eligible for a refund of the registration fees paid, less a 10% administration charge.

  • Registrations cancelled 15-45 working days before the event are elibible for a refund of the registration fees paid, less a 50% administration charge.

  • No refunds are available for cancellations made within 15 working days of the event.

  • Refunds will be made to the same debit/credit card that was used for the registration payment. Payments made for merchandise purchased, and available for pick-up at the event, will not be refunded. Registrants have the option to make arrangements with the registrar to have, at the registrant’s cost, the items shipped following the event. Any merchandise not claimed at the event for which no prior notice to the registrar has been made will be forfeited.

Hotel Cancellation

Cancellation of any reservations at the hotel are dependent on the time of cancellation and the hotel cancellation policy. Participants are responsible for their own reservations. AAOM is not responsible for the refund of any payment refunds from the hotel.
