CUTTING EDGE INTERVENTIONAL SPINE REGENERATIVE MEDICINE WORKSHOP
This cutting edge workshop is a comprehensive Masters-level regenerative medicine interventional spine workshop to complement your clinical and surgical treatments. Using both fluoroscopy and ultrasound guided imaging, this 1.5 day workshop covers multiple spine procedures to include:
- Cervical and Lumbar Spine Disc Access for Intervertebral Disc Derangement (IDD)- Evidence-Based Medicine
- Cervical and Lumbar Spine Disc Access Annulogram
- A/O, A/A, C2/3 for Cervical Spine instability and Has
- Stellate Ganglion Block (SBG) for Pain and PTSD X-Ray vs Ultrasound
- BMC Kyphoplasty for Modic Changes
- Brachial Plexus and Cervical Plexus
- PR Selective Nerve Root Block for Cervical Radiculopathy
- US Guided C/S Disc Access with C-Arm Confirmation
- Disceel procedure© injecting contrast into the spine disc to precisely identify disc tears, then simultaneously injecting Fibrin into the disc sealing torn and damaged discs
Taught by faculty at the forefront of interventional spine procedures and research, this Workshops give attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements related to spine treatment from leaders within their respective field.
Workshop is limited to 32 attendees as each station will have a 4 student per faculty ratio.
This live activity has been designed for physicians who perform spine intervention procedures.
The AAOM strongly advises that members are proficient in the lumbar and cervical spine before progressing to these spine techniques and other advanced interventional procedures.
Who May Attend
Registration is open to AAOM members who are board-certified or in the examination process for certification in: Anesthesiology, Interventional Pain, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiology, Neurology, or Family Medicine Sports Medicine.
Members who are not board-certified or eligible for certification in these specialties must have either completed or be currently enrolled in a pain fellowship accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and begin education with AAOM with the Annual Workshop Lab.
